6. Cookies
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. The Site uses two categories of cookies.
Essential cookies
Set by the Wix platform, these cookies support the operation, stability and security of the Site, including fraud detection. They cannot be disabled from the Site. Their lifespan ranges from the end of your session to 12 months.
Analytics cookies
These cookies measure Site traffic (number of visits, pages viewed, where visitors come from) using Wix Analytics. They are disabled by default and are enabled only if you accept them.
Managing your preferences
On your first visit, a banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link at the bottom of each page or through your browser settings. Declining non-essential cookies has no effect on your browsing experience.
7. Disclosure to third parties
We disclose your information only to the service providers that allow us to operate the Site and respond to you, and only to the extent necessary:
-
Wix.com Ltd., for Site hosting, the contact form and visitor statistics;
-
Microsoft, through Microsoft 365, for our business email.
These service providers are required to protect your information and may use it only for the purpose of the services they provide to us. We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law.
8. Storage outside Quebec
Wix.com Ltd. is based in Israel and stores information in data centres located in the United States and Ireland, among other places. Your information may therefore be stored outside Quebec and be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
Before entrusting information to a service provider located outside Quebec, we assess whether the information will receive adequate protection, as required by law.
9. Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
-
messages received through the contact form or by email that do not lead to an engagement are kept for no more than 24 months after our last exchange;
-
information related to an engagement is kept in accordance with the terms of the applicable agreement and our legal obligations, including tax requirements;
-
traffic data is retained according to the Wix platform’s settings and used in aggregate form.
At the end of these periods, the information is securely destroyed or anonymized.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access restricted to the person in charge of the protection of personal information, two-factor authentication on the accounts used, and password-protected devices.
No transmission over the Internet is completely secure. For this reason, we recommend that you not send sensitive information through the contact form.
11. Your rights
At any time, you may:
-
request access to the personal information we hold about you;

-
request that we stop disseminating information about you, in the cases provided for by law.
To exercise these rights, write to the person in charge of the protection of personal information. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond within 30 days, free of charge.
12. Confidentiality incidents
If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will promptly notify the persons concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec, and take the necessary measures to limit its consequences.
